Peakside Capital is a Switzerland-based real estate firm, specializing in the acquisition and development of real estate assets and the management of private real estate funds. Established in 2010, the firm focuses on opportunities in a wide range of property types across Europe. Peakside Capital is owned and managed by its partners and was created following a management buyout from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML) in September 2010. Peakside Capital covers origination and execution, asset management, investor relations and finance services. The team has invested in over 15 countries across a range of transactions from direct single assets to private equity investments in operating companies. In April 2012, Peakside Capital announced it had entered into agreements to acquire Allied Irish Bank's Polish property fund management subsidiary and its interests in two Polonia Property Funds.
