Founded in Q4 in 2009, Paris Capital Advisors (PCA) was a London-based hedge fund manager. The principals have been working together for over 20 years in London, New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, holding senior management positions at KBC Financial Products and its sister company KBC Alternative Investment Management (KBC). Before KBC, the principals worked together at D.E. Shaw and Citibank in senior positions in London, New York, and Hong Kong. The firm focused exclusively on quantitative option strategies in global index markets. PCA employed a unique combination of alpha and protection strategies intending to generate repeatable and uncorrelated returns to equity markets and other major asset classes.
