Oechsle International Advisors believes that bond market returns are highly affected by currency trends. Therefore, to add value in the global bond markets, the firm considers bonds and currencies to be at least of equal importance. Oechsle identifies investment opportunities by combining country/currency decisions, active duration decisions and quantitative risk programs which are used as a control mechanism. Oechsle International Advisors was founded in August 1986 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts with additional offices in London and Frankfurt.
