Established in 2006, NWQ Capital Management (NWQ) was a boutique investment management firm based in Perth. It emphasized the importance of capital preservation and returns optimization and did so through an absolute return investing strategy. The firm served a range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, non-profit organizations and other institutional clients. The firm commenced managing money for clients in 2010 and launched its flagship fund of hedge funds, NWQ Fiduciary Fund, in May 2013. In Q2 2017, NWQ announced that it had established a US office and was planning to launch an offshore vehicle that was modelled off NWQ's Fiduciary Fund. This vehicle was launched in Q2 2018 and aimed to provide non-Australian investors with access to the same investment process and team as the flagship fund. NWQ Capital Management (NWQ) has liquidated all its funds and shut down all its operations.
