Founded in Q3 of 2002, North Asset Management (North) is a global macro hedge fund manager based in London and is authorized & regulated by the FCA. North is also registered as a commodity pool operator with the CFTC and is a member of the National Futures Association. The firm is owned and operated by its partners: Nick D’Onofrio, CEO, George Papamarkakis, CIO, and Belinda Godwin, COO. North has two distinct hedge fund offerings: the North MaxQ Macro Fund, which is its flagship global macro fund that trades fixed income, foreign exchange, and equity instruments, primarily in developed markets with an emphasis on countries within the European time zones and the North Emerging Markets Fund, which focuses primarily in fixed income instruments in global emerging markets. The firm also operates a UCITS version of its discretionary macro strategy through Montlake Capital’s UCITS platform; the MontLake North MaxQ Macro UCITS Fund was launched in 2014.
