Ninety One is a global asset management firm that began in South Africa as Investec Asset Management. It initially focused on domestic investments and later expanded internationally. In 2020, the firm separated from the Investec Group and became Ninety One. The firm manages investments across asset classes, including equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternatives. Its Alternative Credit platform has been active for 17 years, deploying over $15 billion across 11 fund vintages since 2008. It has made more than 1,200 investments, including those with financial and impact-related objectives. Ninety One employs over 40 investment professionals focused on public and private credit.
