Established in 1998, Navis Capital Partners is an investment firm based in Malaysia. The firm provides capital for buyouts, recapitalization, and financial restructurings in Asia, particularly in companies with a strong or developing presence in Southeast Asia, Australia, and Hong Kong. Navis invests in industry sectors such as food processing, fast food and casual dining, industrial products, fast moving consumer goods, outdoor advertising, auto rentals as well as consultancy and professional services. The NAC (Navis Asia Credit) is a private credit initiative of the firm. The firm plans to leverage the Navis private equity platform for deal flow and focuses on secured credit investments, positioning itself as a partner to businesses that typically resist equity dilution in the early years of a relationship when looking for expansion capital for M&A, organic expansion or ownership transition. Navis Capital Partners also manages Asia-focused hedge funds.
