About

Mount Kellett Capital Management was a private equity firm founded in 2008 which primarily focused on distressed, special situations and opportunistic investing. Investments were focused primarily across North America, Asia, and Greater Europe. As of July 2015, Fortress Investment Group formed a strategic alliance with Mount Kellett to co-manage Mount Kellett's investment funds and related accounts. The Mount Kellett Funds are no longer making new investments, although in certain limited circumstances, some Mount Kellett Funds may make follow-on investments into existing portfolio companies. The firm officially ceased operations in Q2 2024.
