BGO Strategic Capital Partners is an independent real estate fund of funds firm that invests in domestic and international private real estate funds. The firm focuses on underlying value added and opportunistic investment strategies and makes both primary and secondary investments into funds and also co-invests into direct assets. Its team creates portfolios that are diversified by geography, property type, and investment strategy. In November 2013, Carlyle Group purchased Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management to form part of Carlyle's Solutions Group. In February 2021, BentallGreenOak acquired Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management. In April 2023, Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management was rebranded to BGO Strategic Capital Partners.
