Founded in 2003, Meritage Capital is an Austin-based fund of hedge fund management firm and a subsidiary of Brown Advisory Management. The firm focuses on multi-manager hedge funds. The firm primarily provides its services to a pooled investment vehicle. In Q1 2013, it was announced that Meritage Capital had merged with Centennial Partners. The firm is responsible for managing the funds of the combined entity. Meritage Capital invests on behalf of institutions, endowments, high net worth individuals, and family offices. In Q3 2014, Meritage Capital formed a partnership with wealth manager Kanaly Trust to provide sub-advisory services to two fund of hedge funds vehicles launched by Kanaly for its private wealth clients in April 2014. In March 2018, Brown Advisory has acquired Meritage Capital.
