Established in 2015, Melqart Asset Management (Melqart) is a London-based boutique hedge fund manager that was founded by CEO and CIO, Michel Massoud, who has over 20 years of prior experience investing in event driven strategies during his time at Morgan Stanley and then Cheyne Capital. Melqart has invested in building an institutional-quality infrastructure; the management team has previously run large hedge funds; and a bespoke, proprietary risk management system that allows in-depth analysis of portfolio risks on a live basis.
