Mangrove employs an opportunistic, value-oriented strategy through its hedge fund, The Mangrove Partners Master Fund, which operates as a master/feeder structure. The firm seeks to exploit opportunities from market dislocations, company-specific events, and forced selling, with an emphasis on smaller issues and process or legal complexity.
