MAK Capital (MAK) is a New York-based hedge fund manager that was founded by Michael Kaufman in 2002. The strategy seeks to outperform competitors over the long term by opportunistically investing in a fundamental, sometimes contrarian approach across equities, distressed credit, currencies, and commodities, depending on where the risk-reward ratio exists in the market cycle.
