Long Focus Capital Management

Long Focus Capital Management (LFCM) is a Puerto Rico-based hedge fund manager founded by John B. Helmers in 2013. Mr. Helmers concurrently launched Long Focus Capital, LLC (LFC), a global macro hedge fund. Prior to founding LFCM, Mr. Helmers provided investment advisory services to private investment vehicles except from 2007 to 2010 when he managed a macro portfolio for Citadel Investment Group. He previously held positions including Head of Equity and Macro Research at Satoha Management, portfolio manager for Tudor Investment Corporation, and Head of The Goldman Sachs Commodity Index (GSCI) business at J. Aron & Co. Mr. Helmers and his CFO & CCO, Stephen A. DePiero, were classmates and fellow varsity oarsmen at Princeton University, class of 1987.
