Lioness Capital Management (Lioness) is a hedge fund manager based in New York. Lioness focuses on developed and large emerging economies with a U.S. bias. The firm was founded in Q2 of 2019 by an experienced team of global macroeconomic, political, and policy experts with the objective of delivering superior risk-adjusted returns by capturing political and policy events in major and large developing markets. Lioness's edge is its ability to filter the relevant political and policy factors driving price action in global financial markets, aggregating real signals, filtering out the noise to determine what markets are missing, or misleading. The investment team believes asset prices are largely driven by fundamentals over the long-run, while asset price appreciation over the short-term and medium-term is driven mainly by political and policy events, which together shape fundamentals over time. Lioness will only take money from institutional investors and is expected to launch with seed capital.
