Limmat Capital Alternative Investments (Limmat Capital) is a Switzerland-based hedge fund manager founded in 2005 by Raphael Rutz and Ramon Huber. The two founding partners have worked in the industry since 1991 and 1986, respectively, and as a team since 1996. Limmat Capital has evolved from a proprietary trading boutique into a multi-disciplinary investment management firm and the partners’ vision is to continue to build a world-class organization servicing the whole spectrum of investors. The firm focuses on liquid long/short equity and balanced fund strategies. Since its foundation, the company has been building a state-of-the-art alternative investments platform managing unique, institutional-quality investment programs for institutional investors, family offices, wealth management firms, and high-net-worth individuals.
