Established in 2021, Life Asset Management is a South Korea-domiciled hedge fund manager based in Seoul. The firm seeks to capitalize on the structural “Korea discount” by actively generating value-enhancing catalysts and market re-rating opportunities. It pursues an engagement-driven activist approach that departs from traditional confrontational models, focusing instead on financial strategies that align the interests of controlling and minority shareholders while fostering trusted, long-term relationships with portfolio company management. Its domestic flagship fund, launched in 2021 July, maintains a concentrated portfolio of 15–20 equities selected from South Korean listed universe. Life Asset Management has served as the investment advisor to an offshore Cayman-domiciled fund since 2024, which manages investment capital for overseas investors.
