JDP Capital Management is a Texas-based hedge fund manager founded in Q1 of 2011 by Jeremy Deal. The firm manages the Survivor & Thriver Fund, a California-domiciled hedge fund that employs a value-oriented strategy. The fund’s strategy seeks to identify undervalued publicly traded companies that are often in transition, or out of favor. Its approach combines company-specific research with a multiple-year time horizon for each investment. Fund investors include family offices and high net worth individuals. The partnership is structured as an open-ended hedge fund and only invests in assets traded on an open exchange. The firm is an exempt reporting adviser with the State of California under the exemption available to managers of private funds pursuant to section 260.204.9 of title 10 of the California Code of Regulations.
