Jamarant Investors is a New York-based hedge fund manager founded by Gregory Monahan and David Sgro in Q1 of 2016. The firm manages a long-biased, activist and event-driven hedge fund. Gregory Monahan, the portfolio manager, has nearly 22 years of investment and operational experience, beginning his activist investing career in 2005 after co-founding and selling a successful technology consulting firm. He currently is on the board of directors at three public companies and has been on a total of eight public company boards. David Sgro, the director of research, has nearly 19 years of investment and finance experience, beginning his activist investing career in 2005 following 5 years of valuation and investment banking work.
