Guard Capital Management was a Hong Kong-based hedge fund manager. It was founded in 2014 by Leland Lim, formerly Co-Head of Macro Trading for Asia Pacific ex-Japan at Goldman Sachs and Allan Bedwick, formerly Head of Macro Trading in Asia for Noble Group. The firm focused on managing a primarily foreign exchange and interest rate portfolio across global markets with a focus on Asia. In Q2 2017, Guard Capital Management liquidated its only hedge fund, Guard Macro Master Fund, and wound down its hedge fund business.
