Greyhound Capital (GC) is a Bangkok-based hedge fund manager that is founded in Q3 of 2010 by Sergej Belozerov, former co-manager at Quest Management. V-Nee Yeh, who co-founded Hong Kong-based Value Partners in 1993, is the firm’s non-Executive Chairman and Partner. The firm runs a bottom-up driven, index-agnostic equity fund, focusing on the key beneficiaries of the rising middle class in Emerging Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines). It strives to identify quality businesses with strong market positions and entrepreneurial management acting aligned with minority shareholders, producing high and consistent earnings growth, while trading at reasonable valuations. GC shorts mostly in the developed Asian markets to reduce the potential drawdowns caused by global macro events, giving the flexibility to be a buyer during those times.
