Greenland Investment Management (GIM) is a Mumbai-based hedge fund manager founded in October 2013 by Anant Jatia as a family office and opened to the external capital with the launch of the Greenland Global Fund in 2016. The firm has other offices in Mumbai, Dubai and the Cayman Islands, and focuses on high-frequency trading strategies to generate alpha. GIM invests globally and across asset classes, with a focus on cross-market pure and statistical arbitrage strategies. It employs a purely quantitative approach using its proprietary big-data research systems to systematically create alpha-generating strategies. GIM’s extensive network of globally interconnected and exchange co-located servers, along with low latency trading platforms, allows it to algorithmic-ally capture the market inefficiencies across asset classes.
