GF Asset Management (Hong Kong) is a hedge fund manager headquartered in Hong Kong. The firm was founded in July 2006 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GF Holdings (HK), which in turn, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GF Securities, an investment bank based in Guangzhou. GF Asset Management (Hong Kong) manages a range of strategies with a long-term horizon spanning across traditional and alternatives investments. The firm provides overseas investment solutions for clients from Mainland China, as well as Asia- and China-focused solutions to clients from overseas. It aims to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns by investing in a relatively concentrated portfolio of investments, selected based on fundamental research and value. The firm also provides discretionary managed account services to both local and foreign institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals. Currently, the firm manages three broad strategies; a market neutral fund, a multi-strategy fund, and a CTA fund.
