Established in December 1996, GAP Asset Management (GAP) is a Rio de Janeiro-based independent investment manager founded by Renato Junqueira and Oscar Camargo. In 2008, it entered into a strategic partnership with Prudential International to expand its product line into international markets. The partnership was terminated in 2018, and from then, GAP focuses on a single strategy. The firm also invests in foreign exchange instruments and Brazilian external debts.
