Fair Oaks Capital is private debt firm $3.3 Billion+ private credit manager former executives of Blackstone and Apollo. The firm operates out of offices in London and New York. Fair Oaks manages Fair Oaks Master Credit II ("FOMC II"), which are private equity-style funds (7-year life) focused on taking control positions in the equity tranches of CLOs as well as tactical investments in CLO equity and mezzanine notes. FOMC II's had its first close in April of 2017, and its commitment period will end in June 2021. The Firm's first closed-end fund with a similar strategy has realised most of its investments and, as at 30-Jun-20, it had generated a net average IRR of 12% to investors. Fair Oaks takes an active role in the CLO structuring and asset selection leveraging its global team of fundamental credit analysts. In addition to the firm's drawdown credit strategies, Fair Oaks also manages $1.8 billion in CLO debt strategies, including a separately managed account from one of the largest pension funds globally, as well as an opportunistic fund of one from a similarly large institution.
