Exeter Property Group is a US-based private equity real estate firm which acquires, develops, redevelops, repositions, leases, operates and disposes of logistics, life science and office real estate throughout major markets in North America and Europe. It pursues transactions ranging from USD 5-50 million single-asset acquisitions to USD 500 million portfolio acquisitions. Exeter also acquires land for speculative and build-to-suit development. For its value add platform, Exeter typically targets opportunities with vacancy or lease rollover risk, properties that require repositioning and redevelopment, and complex transactions. For its core platform, Exeter targets fully let long term leased investments. Exeter seeks to mitigate investment risk for its investors through sound local market knowledge, active asset management, and full ownership control. In January 2021, Swedish private equity firm EQT announced that it had acquired Exeter Property Group for USD $1.87Bn. The deal was completed in April 2021.
