East Lodge Capital (ELC) is a fund management firm that focuses on multiple investment strategies primarily focused on asset-based lending and structured credit opportunities in Europe and the US. In private markets, ELC looks for less liquid, but higher-yielding opportunities in secured lending on residential or commercial real estate secured consumer financing, and other niche areas of specialty finance, primarily in Europe. Prior to founding East Lodge, Ali established the Asset-Backed Securities business at CQS in 2006 where he served as CIO and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. East Lodge’s global investor base is primarily institutional.
