Duet Asset Management is the private equity, hedge fund, real estate and corporate finance arm of the Duet Group. Duet Private Equity was formed in 2005 through the merger of Duet Capital and Investory. The firm applies a variety of industry strategies including venture capital, buyout and mezzanine, making investments throughout Europe and Africa. The firm invests in real estate through debt secured in Western Europe and developing residential and hotel real estate in India. Duet also manages several hedge funds, including credit and long/short equity funds with a geographic focus on Africa, Turkey and also globally focusing on liquidity events and IPOs. Duet Group integrated the TLG Capital team into Duet Africa Private Equity in October 2011. The move has been envisioned to utilize key synergies that exist between the firms; leveraging all-important regional experience, and local presence in Africa.
