Clearfield Capital Management (Clearfield) is a special situation hedge fund manager founded in September 2014 by Phil Hilal. Combining the benefits of event-driven, fundamental long/short, and activist strategies to identify companies with opportunities for transformative, non-recurring change, Clearfield seeks to generate outsized risk-adjusted returns using constructive engagement with management and boards to catalyze the performance of its investments. Clearfield focuses on high-conviction, catalyst-rich ideas, where it has proprietary analytical insights.
