Chiron Investment Management (Chiron) was a hedge fund manager based in New York. The firm's investment process was an actively managed framework that quantified fundamental factors, systematized the approach, and applied judgment to asset allocation and security selection. It was founded in Q4 of 2015 as a joint venture between former Ivy Funds portfolio manager Ryan Caldwell and GPS Investment Partners. In March 2020, Philadelphia-based hedge fund manager FS Investments (FS) acquired Chiron Investment Management, adding Chiron Capital Allocation Fund to the FS portfolio.
