Established in Q3 of 2004, Cedarview Capital Management (Cedarview) is a New York-based hedge fund manager managed by Burton Weinstein. Cedarview's focus since inception has been and continues to be the US high-yield market. The firm's investment focus spans the entire capital structure. Consequently, long and/or short trades can be expressed in bank debt, secured and unsecured bonds, and equities of debt-laden companies. In addition to fundamental research, it has experience in tactical trading and will at times re-position its portfolio based on the current macro environment and bottom-up opportunity set. The firm’s team of professionals has a long history of investing in the high-yield credit markets.
