C3 Capital is a fund management company with offices in Kansas City, Dallas and Scottsdale that provides capital for businesses to finance later stage growth, strategic acquisitions, ownership transitions, and recapitalizations. The fund makes investments in the form of subordinated debt or preferred equity in established businesses with a history of profitability. The fund has applied to be licensed as a small business investment company. The firm does not invest in early-stage businesses or in turnarounds, real estate, mineral exploration, financial institutions or businesses involving a significant bet on the evolution of specific technologies or with a high risk of technological obsolescence.
