Blacksquare Capital was an independent London-based alternative asset management company. The primary focus of the business was to build innovative, niche multi-manager investment portfolios with access to top-tier asset managers who had demonstrated the ability to generate superior risk-adjusted investment returns throughout a variety of different financial market conditions. As of Q4 2013 it was announced that the firm expects to fully liquidate its UCITS-compliant fund of funds vehicle, the Acumen Defensive Portfolio, by Q1 2014, winding up the firm in the process.
