About

Established in October 2001, Blackhorse Asset Management was a Singapore-based hedge fund manager. It was run by principals John Engle, CFA and Jonathan Ross, CFA who between them have over forty years of on-the-ground experience in Asian financial markets. The management team founded the firm to provide global investors with means to capitalize on Asia's dynamic economic development, as well as information- and pricing- asymmetries in the Asian financial markets. Blackhorse Asset Management’s flagship fund was the Blackhorse Emerging Enterprises Fund, a long bias fund investing in equities within Asia ex-Japan. The fund was liquidated in 2017. Blackhorse Asset Management is no longer in operation.
