Established in 2001 by Thérèse Lucienne Meier, the company has expanded its operations to include offices in Glarus and Pfäffikon SZ. Their approach to wealth management is focused on sustainability, aiming to create value not only for their clients but also for the environment, society, and the economy as a whole. In 2010, the Marxer family acquired full ownership of Belvédère Asset Management. In 2017, Belvédère Asset Management AG and Interesta AG merged, combining their respective expertise. Thérèse Meir continues to lead the company as the executive manager. Belvedere Asset Management are no longer active in the open ended liquid alternative space.
