About

AZ Investment Management Singapore (AZ IM) was a hedge fund manager based in Singapore. It was known as Athenaeum prior to a joint venture agreement with Azimut Group, an Italy-based independent asset manager in 2013. The firm focused on discretionary portfolios for endowments, family offices, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. It formerly managed the Athenaeum Asian Equities Fund and the Athenaeum Singapore Equable Fund from Singapore but was already liquidated. The firm had an extensive range of funds from Europe that were exclusive to the AZ Athenaeum partnership. Established in November 1999, AZ IM launched its first hedge fund in May 2008 but no longer manages hedge funds as of Q1 2021.
