Argonaut Capital Management (Argonaut) is a fund manager based in New York offering global macro and long/short equity investing strategies. The firm focuses on long-term, top-down, discretionary global macro investment managers with an uncorrelated, profitable return profile and an unyielding risk management process as an overlay. Argonaut is founded in August 1993 by David Gerstenhaber, formerly at Tiger Management. Its flagship global macro fund, the Aggressive Global Partnership, launched in July 2000, while a corresponding offshore vehicle, the Argonaut Global Macro Fund was launched in August 2005. A long/short equity fund, the Argonaut Global Equities Partnership, also launched in July 2000.
