Arena Investors is a New York-based investment advisor that invests through private equity, private debt, real estate, and hedge funds. The hedge fund arm of the firm pursues a multi-strategy approach to create risk-adjusted returns for its clients. It focuses on investment opportunities that are fundamentally based, asset-orientated, and credit-focused investment opportunities. The private equity arm provides a broad range of investment assets in a wide opportunity including direct investment, real estate financing, structured finance including acquisitions, recapitalizations, and growth financing in the US, UK, and Europe. The private debt arm offers debt investments in real estate, corporate credit, corporate securities, and structured finance & related assets. It focuses on investment opportunities that are credit and asset oriented, and that are typically senior-secured, low LTV and short duration. Arena is led by its CEO and CIO Dan Zwirn. Arena’s Real Estate Private Credit team seeks opportunistic commercial mortgage lending and secondary market purchases of loans that are secured by transitional and other types of niche properties across a variety of asset types. In addition to Arena's multi-strategy offerings, Arena offers a dedicated strategy for opportunistic commercial mortgage lending and secondary market purchases of loans that are secured by transitional and other types of niche properties across a variety of asset types. In addition, it has offered dedicated funds that can access its New Zealand affordable housing investments.
