Antares Capital is a US-based private debt firm and private equity firm providing financing solutions to middle-market private equity-backed transactions. In 2005, GE Capital acquired Antares for more than $5 billion, doubling the size of GE's middle-market lending business. From 2005-2015, Antares focused solely on private equity-sponsored, middle-market senior debt financings. Later in 2015, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) acquired Antares from GE. Antares maintains offices in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, London, Los Angeles, and Toronto.
