Based in Tokyo and Singapore, ACA Group is a private equity firm targeting buyout, growth equity, and secondary investments opportunities across Asia. ACA Group consists of an alliance between Tokyo-based ACA (formerly known as Ant Corporate Advisory), Singapore-based ACA Investments, and its foreign subsidiaries/partners throughout Asia. ACA Group manages multiple Japan-focused vehicles with a variety of investment strategies. Its strategic investment vehicles specialize in buyout transactions or PIPE investments in undervalued public companies, while its healthcare investment team targets healthcare services that are expected to grow in the aging society. It also provides solution capital to small and medium-sized enterprises that are facing business succession issues. Leveraging its international network, ACA Group invests in companies in Asian markets. It seeks growth opportunities primarily in the consumer sector, targeting the growing population in China, India, and Southeast Asia. In October 2018, ACA Group entered into a business alliance with Daiwa Securities Group, which acquired 34% shares of ACA Investments from ACA's management team. Following this restructuring, ACA's small cap buyout team has split off to establish an independent firm called Growth Capital of Japan (GCJ).
