Founded in 1996, and based in Georgia, US, ZC Sterling Corporation was a provider of hazard insurance outsourcing services with offices in Atlanta, Georgia; Irvine, California; Raleigh, North Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; Harlan, Iowa; Avoca, Iowa; and Lincoln, Nebraska. Stone Point Capital acquired ZC Sterling Corporation in June 2005 and in December 2008, QBE Insurance Group bought the company for USD 575 million. ZC Sterling acquired Westwood Insurance Agency in 2008, which doubled the size of ZC Sterling’s Consumer Marketing business. ZC Sterling Corporation's primary business was managing lender-placed hazard insurance programs on behalf of mortgage servicers.
It also provided hazard insurance outsourcing services; real estate tax services, outsourced tax services and Tax Sourcesm System (ZCTSsm) provides rapid scalability and better management reporting; outsourced customer care services; online claims services; technology solutions in the mortgage outsourcing business; and Voluntary Insurance services for insurance agencies, banks, and mortgage originators.
