Based in California, US, and founded in 2016 by Chief Executive Officer Zack Abbott and Chief Operating Officer Stephen Lamb, ZBiotics Company is an e-commerce company providing probiotics drinks that help prevent a hangover. In March 2024, ZBiotics Company raised USD 22. 42 million in Series A funding led by Spring Tide Capital, with participation from Access Capital, Seamless Capital, Goat Rodeo Capital, and Seaside Ventures.   ZBiotics Company produces genetically engineered probiotics, that support bodies to handle the rising biological challenges of modern living.

The company’s product is known as a pre-alcohol probiotic drink, which operates as a liver that breaks down the toxic byproduct of alcohol and acetaldehyde, so consumers feel better the day after drinks. In addition, the firm manufactures sugar-to-fiber, which is genetically engineered to turn sugar into fiber in the consumer’s gut, that produces an enzyme called Levans Crase which makes fiber using sugar from your diet.   The company generates revenue by selling pre-alcohol probiotic drinks from its e-commerce platform.   The company plans to use the funding from March 2024 to expand distribution and bring new GMO probiotics to market that solve modern-day problems for health-conscious consumers.
