Founded in 2023 and based in Beijing, China, Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics Co. , Ltd. , trading as X-Humanoid, is a manufacture company that focuses on humanoid robotics research and development. Youjun Xiong, the co-founder and CEO of the company, holds a PhD degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, has more than 10 years of experience in robotics R&D and management, and used to participate in the National 863 Program.

In February 2026, X-Humanoid raised 700 million in a strategic investment from new investors Shunxi Fund, E-town international Industrial Investment Management, Beijing Industrial Developing Investment Management, T-Capital, Baidu, KYLand and other investors. Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center's main business is the development of humanoid robotics. Products within include universal humanoid robot prototype, humanoid robot universal large model, humanoid robot operation and control system, humanoid robot tool chain, humanoid robot open source OS. It also provides a developer community for robot designers.

The company's revenue is generated by providing humanoid robotics and related services. The funds raised in the strategic investment will be primarily invested in the iteration and large-scale promotion of the two core platform technologies, "Embodied Intelligence" and "Intelligent Perception," further driving the evolution of embodied intelligent robots towards being "fully autonomous and easier to use.
