Founded in 2000 and based in the UK, WPM Group provides payment services for universities and colleges across the United Kingdom. Holger Bollmann and Jan Bollmann are the co-founders of the company. In December 2021, Flywire Payments Corporation acquired WPM Group. As of December 2021, WPM integrates with more than 130 university systems and powers more than 170 university and college clients.

The company provides payment solutions that include benefits such as integrating with institutions' existing systems and workflows and providing a secure payment experience for students and their families worldwide. The firm offers a payment security management system (PSMS), which is a set of tools for planning and implementing payment security policies, processes, and procedures that have been developed in conjunction with, and specifically for, the higher education sector. WPM Group also offers payment security conferences and payment security training.
