signed a definitive agreement to acquire World View from VTF Capital, Base Ventures, Space Angels, Tencent Investment, Moment Ventures, Leo Holdings Corp. II, Sierra Nevada Corporation and Breakthrough Victoria for USD 140 million. The consideration consists of up to 12,775,219 shares of Ondas common stock of which 99,233 Shares were deposited into an escrow account, and approximately $7. 3 million cash towards outstanding obligations.
The deal was completed in April 2026. World View Enterprises develops and operates high-altitude balloons for commercial and scientific applications. Their balloons can reach the stratosphere, which is the layer of Earth's atmosphere located between about 12 and 50 kilometers above sea level. The acquisition will enable Ondas Holdings Inc.
to add stratospheric, high‑altitude balloon platforms to its unmanned systems portfolio, expanding its capabilities in long‑endurance remote sensing, communications, and ISR applications.
