Based in Dresden, Germany, and founded in 2019 by CEO Victor Splittgerber, Waku Robotics GmbH is a robotics consulting and software development company that enables logistics and manufacturing companies to select, implement, and operate robotic solutions to increase robot utilization, reduce downtime, and stay robot vendor independent. In August 2022, Waku Robotics raised EUR 1. 5 million in seed funding by new investors Schauenburg Ventures, Plug and Play, Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS), Fritz Bittmann Holding GmbH and London-based proptech VC Pi Labs and other individual investors. The company provides Waku Sense, a software for all mobile robots (FTS, AMR, and AGV) that enable robot operators to manage and monitor traffic in real-time, and fleet analysis for powering the multi-fleet operations of the future.

Waku Robotics also offers Waku Plan, a service package that includes automation feasibility assessment, solution design and final vendor selection, proof of concept (PoC), purchasing and contract negotiation, robot deployment and process integration, and more for all aspects of automation with mobile robots (AGV, AGV, AMR). Waku Robotics plans to use its proceeds from August 2022 funding to scale the development and commercialization of Waku Sense.
