Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd.

Established in 1988 and based in Singapore, Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd. is a mechanical and electrical engineering firm that provides services including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems integration and project management. The company was founded by Jason Chua, Keith Tan and Alan Chong. The company started out as a 10-person team and now has 300 employees, while turnover has surged from USD 2 million in 1990 to around USD 200 million in 2012.

It has also expanded its operations to become aN integrated provider of a variety of mechanical and electrical engineering services. In April 2015, Dymon Asia Private Equity invested USD 40 million for a minority stake in Wah Loon Engineering. In April 2018, Vinci Energies acquired an 80% stake in Wah Loon Engineering from Dymon Asia Private Equity for approximately USD 250 million. The company provides Mechanical Engineering services which include the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as Air-Conditioners and Ventilation Systems (ACMV) equipment, plumbing and sanitary equipment, and fire protection equipment; Electrical Engineering services which include the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV, LV and HV electrical systems, instrumentation and control systems; Systems Integration services which integrate both the electrical and mechanical systems into one; and Project Management services.
