In September 2022, the firm raised USD 8. 5 million in Seed funding co-led by investors OSS Capital and Lux Capital, with participation from another investor Sisu Game Ventures. An individual investor also participated in the round.

The company was founded by Juan Linietsky (CEO), Rémi Verschelde and Fabio Alessandrelli, and Nicola Farronato. The company offers open-source technology-based cloud platforms to both enterprise and independent games developers which enables them to use free and open-source Godot Engine and develop the game smoothly. Additionally, the firm offers a range of commercial open-source software (COSS) products and services based on open-source game development technology which enables the developers to bring games to the market with a relaxed mind. The company plans to use the September 2022 funds to expand its core team and accelerate the development of a suite of products and services for the Godot ecosystem, enabling all developers to create and publish games and applications on all major platforms.
