About
Based in Poland, and founded in 2018 by Michal Laska, VUMO, formerly Car Scanner, scans cars for automatic parking enforcement and car damage documentation through the autonomous robot. In December 2021, Vumo raised USD 2 million in seed funding led by new investor ff Venture Captial, with participation from other new investors Diplao Ventures, FundingBox Deep Tech Fund, Pomerangels, and Techstars Ventures. An individual investor also participated in the round. Michal Laska is the CEO of the company.
VUMO offers visual inspection solutions for car service, car rental, fleet management, and aftermarket sales. The company’s solution protects car services from illegal customer claims regarding car damage while servicing the car. In addition, it offers service to rental car providers by automating the return of cars once hired by the customer. The company’s service allows fleet management companies to track their car’s condition remotely.
