Based in Germany, Verimi GmbH/Yes was formed as a merger between Verimi GmbH and Yes. The company operates as a software company that develops as an identification wallet provider. In November 2022, Verimi GmbH, a portfolio company of G+D Ventures and Volkswagen Financial Services, and Yes, a portfolio company of Swiss ICT Investor Club, agreed to merge to form Verimi GmbH/Yes. Verimi GmbH/Yes is an ID wallet provider.

Users can easily and securely save their ID documents, driver's licenses, and other forms of identification in their ID wallet, or personal digital wallet, so that their information is always digitally accessible with a few clicks. Users can then use their ID wallet to easily identify themselves to acceptance partners across many sectors. For this objective, banking sector partners will allow its consumers to identify themselves immediately through online banking. Established initial identification procedures, such as the German ID card's eID procedure, the bank ID, the video ID, the photo ID, and an on-site ID procedure, are also integrated into the joint solution, allowing users to identify themselves directly in the application case at the partners and store verified ID data in their personal ID wallet.
